Situated 24km/15miles west of the city of London, the airport has 4 terminals. Links to the city centre are by taxi, train, underground (tube) and bus. Taxis: There are taxi ranks outside the Arrivals Halls of all four terminals. Trains: The new Heathrow Express is the fastest way to central London (Paddington Station). Trains leave every 15 minutes from Heathrow Central (for Terminals 1-3) and Terminal 4. Journey time is 15 minutes. Tube: The airport is served by the Piccadilly Line Underground. Trains leave from Heathrow Central (from Terminals 1-3) and Terminal 4. Journey time to central London is about 60 minutes. Tickets can be bought from machines in the baggage reclaim areas of all the terminals as well as in the stations. Bus: The bus service goes to London (Victoria Coach Station) every 30 minutes. Departures from outside the Terminals and journey time is about 60 minutes.
